From Games to Magic, Welcoming Vincent Boiteau to the Team
We’re excited to welcome Vincent Boiteau to Magic as we prepare to launch the ultimate mobile app for superfans. With his background in gaming, digital experiences, and audience monetization at Gameloft, Vincent joins the team at a pivotal moment, and his arrival feels like the most natural move we could make.
After more than twenty years creating interactive worlds for millions of players, Vincent felt the need to get back to something more personal, that spark of shared emotion between artists and fans.
At Gameloft, he spent years leading creative teams across fourteen studios and over a hundred games, learning how to turn ideas into living universes that grow with their communities. Projects like Disney Dreamlight Valley reminded him how powerful it is when technology and emotion meet.
With experience in live operations, product design, and ethical monetization, Vincent's goal is to help Magic grow from an exciting experiment into a global platform that still feels personal and true to its roots.
Here’s why this is not only a good decision, but the right one.
A Gaming DNA That Matches Our Vision
During that time at Gameloft, Vincent worked at the intersection of :
- Player engagement
- Monetization through live services
- IP-driven fan experiences
- And partnerships across entertainment ecosystems
At Gameloft, he helped build digital products that didn’t just entertain, they retained, rewarded, and grew vibrant communities of player
And that’s exactly what we’re building at Magic ; not a game, but a fan-powered ecosystem, where passion leads to participation, and engagement leads to rewards.
Magic isn’t a traditional game. But it shares core design principles with gaming:
- Progression systems (missions, levels, leaderboards)
- Real-time interaction (chats, scans, drops)
- Emotional immersion (customization, world-building)
- Value loops (earn, unlock, redeem)
Vincent’s experience at Gameloft gives him an instinctive understanding of how to keep users engaged without overwhelming them, how to design experiences that feel fun, not forced, and how to create reward systems that actually mean something.
He’s not just thinking like a business developer, he’s thinking like a game designer for the fan economy.
These are exactly the muscles we need as we grow Magic, a product that blends tech, fandom, and culture
His arrival helps us:
- Scale our fan engagement model
- Build rewarding, gamified mechanics inside the app
- Structure entertainment partnerships with depth and ROI
- Infuse playful logic into our product roadmap
Why Magic? In Vincent’s Words
What pulled me toward Magic is that same feeling: it’s not just about listening to music, it’s about living it together.
I want to bring what gaming does best into this world : small, meaningful interactions that build real connections over time.
I’ve always believed creativity, data, and emotion belong together, and that’s exactly what we’re building here: a new kind of dialogue between artists and fans, made of moments, challenges, and shared rewards.
To me, Magic isn’t just an app. It’s a living movement, a place where fans don’t just watch the story, they help write it.
Welcome to the Magic Team, Vincent
We’re proud to build this story with you, and we’re just getting started.
Passion is the game. Magic is how you play.
